Judge Dredd-I love Judge Dredd and the Dredd universe-The stories and artwork, etc are groundbreaking and over the years it has matured into an awesome series of classic stories with amazing authors and artwork done by many famous comic artists over the last few years.

then in 1995 came the movie-oh dear........

the look and costumes were great and I loved the ABC warrior-but the story was a real let down-I won't go into a rant here but lets just say I didn't like it!

anyway, fast forward a few years and just recently I came across a Judge uniform made by Ace called " Judge Girls Mission" I knew I had to have one-so I bought 2!

One I have kept as the female original character and as there is no way I can afford the Medicom RAH Dredd figure so I decided to use the second outfit etc, for a male street judge

Unfortunately the uniform is scaled for the female figure it comes with so I had to do a bit of work to make it fit the male figure.

the head sculpt had to be cut down quite a lot so the helmet would fit- and scrape the neck down so the collar piece(which is plastic) would fit round it.

the eagle and shoulder pads had to be extended out to cover his shoulders properly-I did this simply by fitting thin sheet plastic and cutting down the original pieces and giving it a paint job.
The outfit actually tore over the shoulders so once I got it on the figure I had to sew the tears up-luckily they are hidden by the shoulder armour!

the kneepads provided with the figure are too small for the male-so I cannibalised the kneepads from my Movie Dredd model kit and used them -which make them look much more to scale with the photos of the judges uniform.

And that's it-the original hands/boots etc, all fit ok -all I did next was add a bit of scrap chain from the collar to the badge to complete the uniform.

I am working on a comic based 1/6 Dredd so keep 'em peeled!

hope you like him-comments etc all welcome

cheers

Looks very good! Sadly, it doesn't have a Stallone likeness, but it overall rocks!
Maybe one thing I'd do is, if it's still possible, sand off the 'male nipples' and paint the chest black so one can't see the semi transparent nature of the uniform there...
Can't wait for the comic version!
