Lord demos once ruled the entire universe until he was forced to fuse himself to the emperor of destruction mananon in order to safe himself from the techno virus. It was this fusion that created the horde empire as many of the universes most evil warriors banded together with demoman now lord of the evil horde. The kurr clan were chosen to keep demoman's spirt in the vessel of evil until the day a new host for demoman could be choosen to allow the overlord to live again. However the spell was mis-cast by hordak to allow him to access demoman's great power without allowing the warlord to fully return and take over the horde once more
