A lil something different this time. Got a vote to do a Icons figure. So I acetoned off the factory paint so the primer and new paint will adhere best. Primered gray, then hand-washed with diluted black paint. Then mixed a lil white with gray to make a lighter gray coat, then highlighted with white. Horns are sculpted and feet are sculpted also to make 4 toes instead of 5. Sculpted belt, wrist gaultlets and leg gauntlets. Last, I worked from dark to light with black paint in the dark corners/ shadows of his face. Some light and dark flesh tones and multiple washes/ airbrush effects on face and horns. Detailed the eyes on the mask and Rhino with white paint, then outlined with black for eye lashes, then a brown pupil and black center with a white dot for a shiney effect. Icons are fun because the canvas is a lot bigger and more details to work in. Hope you like!
