Scavenger demon, as seen in the film "Constantine", a loose adaptation of the HELLBLAZER DC/Vertigo comic series.
Inhabiting hell, these distended, seemingly mindless creatures are seen scampering about, causing pain and suffering to the denizens of the lowest realm.

Recipe:

x1 LCBH Judge Death
x2 puck-shaped magnets from Gaussboys magnets
x1 ML stand + hobby plaster and silicon mold for rock shapes

I dremmeld off the upper portion of the base figure's head, to show the hollow skull portion of the demons head. Because the reference art depicts an utter lack of brain, there's really no room for a neck peg assembly. I used a thin magnet in the head, and a larger/stronger one in the resculpted neck to retain articulation. It also has the added ability of displaying the figure without a head, if one runs into a demon hunter or mage. ;)

I disassembled the figure, sanded down all the joints, and re-assembled the figure with a backwards pelvis. This was done (along with some sculpting to show more of a pronounced spine) to achieve the awkward hunching pose this monster has in the film.

Painted with Vallejo acrylics and sealed with Krazy Glue liquid type superglue (on paint-rub areas), the Matte Vallejo varnish.

The base stand was created using hobby plaster, a silicon rocky mold, and was also painted with Vallejo acrylics. To avoid chipping, I sealed the entire surface of the stand with liquid type superglue, then sealed it also with Matte varnish.
