Before Marvel had Deadpool, before Arthur had the Tick, there was this loveable character...straight out of DC Comics,(circa 1982), I present to you the astonishingly annoying, the infamously intangible, the ridicuously, well, ridiculous... AMBUSH BUG, A.K.A Amber Butane of the Amber Butane Corps, A.K.A. Ambush Bob. He is seen here sporting his sidekick and Cheeks the Wonder Toy, one of his bugs, and a cape and belt. A.B. is a former villain turned crimefighter with the power of teleportation, although achieved previously through the use of bugs he stores in his antennae, he no longer needs them to teleport. At one time he was limited to teleporting only to where one of his bugs were. A.B. is also fully and completely aware he is a comic book character. He was a member of the Justice League during 52- after which they promptly gave him the boot, a former member of the Doom Patrol, and at one time had his own Corps,(Amber Butane Corps), based in the Periverse and in the Earth One Universe; which, were actually a spoof of the Green Lanterns and included such members as Mr. Nebula(Kirtann Rodd) with cosmic power he uses to in an attempt to redecorate the multiverse and Grumbler.

The antennae were a cell phone charger wire with Aves Fix-it. Mr. Cheeks was a random baby doll with Aves and twist tie antennae. The bug is a ring toy with a twist tie attached. The cape is from a tire innertube with a mini TMNT Raphael headband glued on. The belt is from a ninja figure I found at Goodwill with Aves.
I think this may be the first Ambush Bug on the Realm, so I hope it's the best, lol; anyway,everything is painted in acrylic. Barely got this one done under the wire barely let the paint dry, played with the lighting a little too much too. Thanks for looking and comments are welcome.
