Rapture is an artificial copy of the winged, blue-skinned mutant nun known as Sister Joy which was created by Cerebro. Character History Rapture was a part of Cerebro's team of X-Men created in order to "catalog and store" all mutants on Earth. In addition to being able to fly on account of her wings, Rapture wielded a sword.
