Updated Thanks to Bob-the-odd for being awesome enough to send me some spare weapons he had.......Thanks a million Bud!!!!!. The third picture has the original weapons I gave him and I think you'll all agree he looks much better with the proper ones.

Man!!!, really loving the MOTU kick I've been on lately, next up is Merman. One of my favourites as a kid, I liked his face and green and yellow colour scheme. So I went for a mix of classic and new once again, hope you all like the result as much as I do.....

Recipe
Base = DCUC modern Guardian

Head = 200x merman

Lower arms = 200x merman

Lower legs and feet = 200x merman re worked the feet to fit the DC articulation and sculpted armour on feet and bottom of legs

Armour and loin cloth = 200x merman, sliced the armour and reattached at an angle so it doesn't hamper the ab crunch.

Sword = Chaos comics Azure lady death, paint brush for handle and a little bit of wire.

Trident = scratch build with a paintbrush, twistie ties and aves fixit. Not 100% happy with this but it's a good stand in till I find something better

New weapons = 200x Merman

Base Recipe
The stone head is from a pirates of the caribbean cannon I think. Stones from my yard held on with epoxy. Figure packaging covered in hot glue. Wish I had more but there's already 12 sticks on there. Bottom bit is from a ghost in the shell figure. There are 3 LEDs in this one and two battery assembly each holding 3 button batteries, I used the inards off twistie ties as routing wire for them. One is in the bottom and two are behind the slime fall.

Painted with Games workshop paints and sealed with Games workshop Satin purity seal

More Pics inside the thread!!

I've been working on a little side project at the same time as this so that should be done soon, hint it involves vintage heman figures.

Wow! This is bloody awesome! Love how this guy came out, your part combination/modifications came together flawlessly, and the paints are so solid it looks like he just came out of the box! Whom cares about the trident anyway, the sword was the accessory I think of when I picture my classic figure from when I was a kid, and your looks wicked!

Very nice work Darth! That base is just too wicked ! I do have to agree with your thoughts on the trident though, but sometimes you have to make do with what you have. A couple great replacement tridents could be from any of the DCUC Aquaman or even Black Manta's. Again though, fantastic work on another 200x figure!
