In the end the predator fought to his death to obtain this rare 'trophy'...



Seeking a predator to fit the 1:18 scale I found the AvP series created by Mcfarlane around 2004. The ‘Scar Predator’ was a good start. What was lacking in the Scar was any form of articulation. So I took a modern GI Joe Heavy Duty (Roadblock) from ROC and swiped all the articulation needed for Scar. The swipe included: elbow joints were drimmeled to ball joints and placed HD’s arm in, the Scar forearm was drimmeled thru and placed around the HD’s forearm, the Hand was drilled and switched with the MU Punisher hands, the lower torso on Scar was drimmeled to allow insert of HD’s upper legs and the traditional metal GI crossbar, the lower legs under the knee joint was swapped with the Scar legs, the HD feet were used at the ankle joint and Scar’s feet were drimmeled out to fit over like a shoe. Everything was painted lightly to blend. For the weapons: drimmeled out some slots in the forearm for some Rare earth magnets and attached to the large Predator blades, drilled two smaller holes on the upper wrist of right hand for the launching blades, added a spear from GI’s Shadow Tracker….and done.
