Here is the second member of my Super Joe Team: the android known as Luminos! This is a pretty simple but effective custom and it's amazing how much Space Ghost evokes the spirit of Luminos with just a few minor tweaks. I removed the cape from an "Invisible" Space Ghost, and then used a dremel to mutate his head and face into more angular shapes while removing all traces of his mask. Using vintage card art as a reference, I then sanded his chest down and carved a bunch of machinery type stuff into his torso. Another cool aspect of using the Ghost Host for my base is that he is two inches shorter than the rest of the figures in this custom series. In my imagination that scale works for this character, as I envision Luminos to be a very powerful but compact robot, small in stature so that "he" takes up less space in the ship, but still big enough to be able to move stuff around and fight like a regular sized human. In this series of photographs he is going nuclear.
