Here is the second installment in my budget-conscious beginner series. Pretty simple alteration: the ole' switcheroo of heads and a bit of painting. I like my figures to be 6 in. But I don't yet have the skill to sculpt a body and I couldn't think of a figure that looked more like Noir Spidey than The Spirit so he's a bit tall. So I just pretend everyone is bigger in this alternate universe. :-) I chose battle armor spidey for his head because the helmet allowed me some flexibility and sort of looked easy to make more noir-ish. I took the advice after my first custom (Sonic Spider-man) to check out the tutorials and I thought they were very helpful. Now I just need to practice the techniques for future figs. Keep on building!
