NO CRACKING ON IT, I was amazed actually, I have run into that problem before, if you are planning on doing that with other paints I would test it first it worked well with the clear by tamiya, glad I could help inspire you looking forward to your customs!

YES IT IS BENDY WIRE FROM PACKAGING! I simply painted it clear yellow using tamiya clear yelllow, worked well.
