Paul Duval was a chemist who gained his powers in a lab accident. Now able to turn into a man of living stone, Duval pursued a life of crime and clashed with many of the Avengers, including Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man.
This custom started with out with the popular base figure Black Panther for the body and the cape. The head is a Camcokid Tony Stark head cast. The gloves are from Cyclops, with fingernails from Ultimate Nightcrawler. The lower legs are from Super Skrull, the feet from a non-ML part, Skeletor. The domino mask was made from label tape, and the cape was finished with pieces of Mr Sinister's cape and speaker wire.

This is really great. Did you just glue down the speaker wire? Also what is label tape?

I wanted to comment on this before, but I guess I got sidetracked, lol. Anyways, Fantastic work man, Tony's head is a great choice and the paints look great!

Thanks for the comments, guys. Countpichula: I used dry-brushing on the figure. For the lines on the gloves and boots, I first drew them with a marker, then painted over them. And yeah, when I saw the Tony Stark head, I knew I had to use it for Grey Gargoyle. It's already got the moustache, and he looks angry!

That is sweet! I have always wanted to make one of these but never found a good base at an affordable price. The paint apps are very well done here. Great job on a classic villain!

Paint job on that is pretty rad! Is that all dry brushing or air brush? Looks good. Also
