Hulk Dark Green Skin (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
I would like to start out and say that all of my Hulks come from my love of the character but also some of the best customizers on the net inspiring me with Hulk customs such as MadTinker76, Anthony, Jin, Stevid, Fast Freddy, Jade Jaw along with many others Loose collectors Pitt sized McFarlane was awesome, I hope I did not leave anyone off everyone here is inspiring so please help add to the awesomeness which is the realm. So thanks to all you who make this worth while and when I am done with my Marvel collection please be sure MOTU is coming. This is a Planet Hulk that I added a Face Off head to, while filling in all the peg holes. I sculpted the ripping of the pants at the top of the waist, bottom of pants then sculpted up the trap muscles, since I was impressed by anthony's customs looking so sweet and tried to give him more of a realistic than cartoon look with the paint. I started with dark angels green then finally snot green finishing, I thought this gave a nice interesting look, this also gave rise to my thinking of mixing a darker color I will work into one of my new Hulk customs. I am still working on many different Hulks that will be for specific looks or sizes, so I will keep you posted. Thanks for any comments and views. Please wait... |

thanks, I did not have that in my head when it started but I would love to do something like that when I complete some more of my Hulk series. Much appreciated on a great idea.
Your welcome, you have some mad skills and have helped out a newby. I am using a mix of Model Masters, Citadel (which are the best) and GamesWorkshop paints. I used GamesWorkshop Dark Angelus Green and Snot Green on this fig and did not use my usual base of Model Masters Flat Black. This may be the reason for the shine during photography, I even Dullcoted the fig and took pics again and still some sheen? If I could advise try the Snot Green from Citadel to get a similar green, I recently picked some up and it seems to be better, it also was used for the paint I mixed for my BAF Hulk. Thanks for the props, it means a lot.
Thanks for the compliments, I like sculpting it helps reduce my stress and helps make the figure collection I have always wanted. I definitely agree to look for the snot green and scorpion green from Citadel, they are better in all ways than the Model Masters versions in my opinion.
Your welcome, thanks for the compliments. I was trying to go for that version when I first saw the Face Off head, so I set out to make that fig. I like the paint and want a multitude of colors, since I have seen him in soooooooo many different tones of green. Still the 70s through the 90s Hulk was my favorite, so thanks for the props it means a lot.
thanks that is one of the reasons why I liked the Hulk when I was little, but it was probably the 80s cartoon that got me first.
