Gotta give props to Bosch! While checking out the artwork of Hieronymus Bosch, got inspired to build this Hybrid using the stuff of nightmares. A 15th Century Dutch painter, Bosch was well known for his paintings of strange & fantastical scenes, especially those depicting bizarre monsters that existed in what they perceived as Hell, during that century.
Much like how this particular Hybrid will be perceived today. The concept was coming up with an Alien creature that had the power of flight, while remaining streamlined and not be burdened with wings.

feet - Mantis Alien
tail - Devilman Saylos
