From Advanced Dungeons&Dragons here's my 1/9th scale version of Zarak,The Half-Orc Assassin(complete with Ivanhoe mask disguise). His head is a resin casting from an original Yokai-John head sculpt(my Hunch-back). For his body I used a CTVT Teen body,Which I sculpted on muscle and his hump onto the torso with Clay-stone.I also sculpted his boots from Clay-stone onto the legs as well.I sculpted his hood, collar, daggers, and Sheaths from Clay-stone. I painted the entire body and sculpted parts with acrylic paints and sealed with Mod-Podge.A customizer friend made his spandex shirt and his pants are from CTVT(I cut the feet off some Nurse Dementia tights actually). His hands are Doc Mego hands and the cuffs I cut from a Castaway Super-hero gauntlet. His belt is a red Castaway belt I sculpted the pouch from clay-stone.
Pretty neat--you should take a group shot of them all once you're finished making all the characters you like. Did the original figure have a mask? I don't recall him having one, but maybe I'm just remembering wrong--if it didn't, then that's a cool addition to the character.
Thanks Patraw, glad you like my version of Zarak.Your memory is correct the original LJN figure did not have a mask, but since the bio(on his package/card) for the figure said he was a master of disguise,I thought it would be cool to give him one.
