And so this started at my son's request. He has the Ezio figure by NECA or Mezco, but complains it isn't poseable enough. It looks gorgeous, but as I inspected, those awesome joints are rendered sueless because of the sculpt. So I took a stab at this. Sculpted the shirt, gaunlets, belt/sash, decorative sash buckles, and boots, and added some cloth shirt bottoms and two cloth capes (red inner, brown outer), and cloth sash sleeves that hang off the waist sash. His hood is entirely cloth, soaked, cut, glued, and painted to shape it like Ezio's hood. THAT took a LONG time--BUT I think it came out pretty neat. His shoulder pads are cut and sealed cloth. Across his chest is a braid from a SOTA Steet Fighter Akuma, and a string line form some G.I. Joe cable that is glued to a clasp that used to be a scabbard buckle from Stiders sword. His wrist blades are cut pieces of Wolverine claws that just slip into the glove. They look pretty good, even though they aren't working wrist blades. Lastly he has a sword fro mthe 'bin'. Enjoy! -Fitz ![]() |
