George Reeves Superman | 1950's Classic TV Masters (Movie Masters) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:31348
Name:George Reeves Superman | 1950's Classic TV Masters
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Movie Masters
Creator:GeekSummit
Date Added:July 26, 2011
Base Figure:Hacksaw Jim Doogan
Height:6.50 inches
Here I took a Hacksaw Jim Duggan and a head from another WCW figure and sculpted on the hair and used my hot glue dot trick for the added volume of the nose. Emblem is a cut vinyl decal primed with the body and then painted. Lower legs are from Silver Age Superman and cape is red polyester treated with black spray paint to brown it up a little then pulled through the tops of the shoulders into the body. I have been wanting to finish this figure for quite sometime so last night I set up on the coffee table (Wife and Kid out of town) and finished this up in a few hours. I think its a nice starter likeness, I really want to try this a few more times before I can say I've done it. There we have it

Great work. Don't know why Mattel don't make some figures like that.

To be seen. My greatest hope is that he sales/lack of sales of the Multiverse figures may lead to a 6" revival of their Movie Masters line for those properties.

been a while since I looked through and had forgotten, but can't wait to see more. Always wish he flew back in the day, but love the cartoon and stylized feel. keep up the great work in your fortress of solitude.

Gotcha, I have done a couple Fleischers, but I am working on a new combo that is a little more up to speed. Just look through my profile. If you like Superman, you'll love my profile… for sure.

Cartoon? Like Fleischer or Comics Style (Curt Swan)?
