Hi,

The second post of the day is Hercules in the Marvel Universe scale as well. This one was made out of Piledriver and Gladiator legs. This one was made along with Ares .2.

The face head was fully sculpted over Piledriver's head with the exception of the eyes, the mace weapon, the belt with the lion face, and the leg bands were also sculpted.

The inspiration for this piece is the new Hercules statue by Bowen design with a little modifications to the attire but everything else is supposed to be based on the great sculpture.

What type of paint did you use for his skin tone? I'm having a hard time finding or mixing a color that looks good.

I used testors medium tan tone. The brownish tone is a wash of the same color with a little brown paint added to it to make it darker.

I've always hated the size of marvel universe figs. and manufacturers can only do so much into adding detail to these annoying miniatures.... but if they all look as good as your Hercules, I'd rush to the store and buy a lot!

Hi,

He does have an underwear what happened is that the color is a light yellowish and orange tone so it is not that different from the skin tone in the pictures, but if you look at it for a while you will notice the difference in color.
