For this "Oldies" submission I give you Major Liberty. Major Liberty had the ability to call on the souls of dead patriots to help him battle evil.
Major Liberty started as a DC Classic Universe Gentleman Ghost figure. I removed the cape and trimed up the coat tails. From there I added a Clint Barton Head. The gloved hands come from a Hasbro Marvel Legends Banshee. The tops of the boots are sculpted as is the hat. For the stars, I added confetti stars and then painted them white. The belt is a rubber band, and the buckle is from some wrestler figure. I hope you all like him, and God bless.
Everyone else said it he is hunched a little but AWESOME WORK I totally want the hat to make my own that is awesome, your detail work is excellent. Over all high marks for me
Thanks so much. As for the much talked about hunched look, as I was working on him I did try for a little bit longer neck but was not happy with how it looked. While I am bumbed that it didn't score higher, I am personally happy with how it turned out. I may try to do something again with the neck, but if I don't, I am still happy with it.
The height of the collar and/or the shortness of the neck is giving him a bit of a hunched over look, but, other than that, excellent figure. I like that you went to the trouble of making the stars raised elements rather than just painting them on--little touches like that make all the difference. Calling up patriotic ghosts from the afterlife is a pretty unique power, especially for that era.
