Thanks. He was dyed using hot water and powdered dye, then rinsed using hot water, then cool water in a light scrub until the dye stopped coming off, then treated a second time and repeated the process to kill the bleeding effect of the dye. Most folks that dye forget they have to rinse hot first and that is why they get a problem with dye bleeding up.

Would you believe me if I said not only do I have no idea which gun you are talking about, but I have no clue where it's even from? I get most of my accessories in lots and have about 6lbs of guns and swords that I can only guess the origins of. Sorry I can't be of more help than that.

Thanks! It's about 5 layers with airbrush highlighting. Brown base coat over black, lots of red dry brushing and highlighting working my way up to the airbrush level.

Looks better than both toybiz & hasbro's version & I have both. Amazing job dude!
