Dear All,

Well I really love the classic 1987 Predator Movie and was thrilled when we finally got an affordable movie accurate figure of “ Jungle Hunter” . Predator was one on the list of my all time wishes as a kid in the 80’s to own a toy of , so here we are and yes ! finally got one . However , the paint job particularly on the grid lines was hopeless , I thought why does everyone rave about the paint schematics when people like you and I (customizers) , can see clear as day the lack of care on Necas behalf .

So he was completely redone with citadel paints , colours are : Skin = bleached bone wash over elf flesh for the pasty colours and the green angels green and black & brown mixes. The overall effect was to my surprise fairly accurate .The armour was done with chainmail silver followed by various mud washes & sepia tone washes for the gritty look . I recommend the formula of paint the light pale skin apps first , then the dark apps, followed by the speckled spots . Then clear coat with gloss (user preference) , then do the grid lines last. This way if you make an error you don’t have to loose the detailing to clean it up .

I love this custom he looks awesome to me,I really enjoyed customising so it got the extra love it deserves. I also added the obvious missing bio mask hose connectors located on the top left and bottom left they were made with old headphones ! . Then the bio mask eyes were re-coated in smoke gloss
