Sorry its been a while since ive been here as ive been really busy painting various things , so I decided to drop by with a new custom.well I have done predator before , but not as crisp as this . The paint apps for the first time on a predator I am happy with my work on it .I really hate the NECA paint apps on these great sculpts , they are damn awful . Sometimes you get lucky and get great grid lines on the regular paint app versions. This one i cleaned up a lot and sanded the seams, and got rid of the seam on the helmet and smoothed it out . Then applied the citadel paints using base coat , colour & 2 sets of washes. Gotta say the grids were the hardest and the most fiddly . I recommed doing one at a time little by little but its so worth it ! Then hand painted i some areas tamiya gloss , to give him that clammy look but not overly doing it. The result is a nice clean crisp and the key is "less is best" when it comes to the black spots etc . Added the hoses to his helmet as well.

Elf flesh , Dark Angels Green , Belestial Brown , Snakebite Brown , Chaos Black, Boltgun Metal,Mud Wash , Cepia Tone Wash,Blood Red, Bleached Bone (Skin) , Goblin Green , chainmail silver for highlites.
