Update Your Custom
For the blood: In some heavier areas I just paint it on with a very small brush tip. For the splatter...I dip the brush in the red paint and then transfer it to a magazine cover or whatever I'm using to mix paints. Then I dip my brush in water and dip the excess water into the paint like 3 times. By then you have a pretty drippy red. Then I carefully flick the base of the brush with my finger. The first flick is usually pretty heavy with red, but the more you do it the lighter it becomes...for the really small drops. I do this with the figure laying down on something I don't mind getting paint all over. Since the paint is really watery, I don't touch the figure for a while after.
