First off I want to say thank you to everyone who comments on my work. I am relatively new at this and I appreciate the support.

Now I wanted to get away from the typical Sinestro Corps Base Figure and try something new. With that being said i'll get to what most of you look for in my customs. The backstory.


Mollussk is a Ysbrydal Gastro Slug. He likes to think of himself as the front lines equivalent of Bedovian. For those of you who do not know Bedovian he is a terrestrial hermit crab who lives in the vacuum of space inside a shell. Bedovian's eyesight enables him to see across three sectors, which makes him quite the sniper. So Bedovian stays in space to do his sniping from far far away and Mollussk travels with the troops to do sniping on site. Mollussk has gone to great lengths to emulate Bedovian. Going as far as to have cybernetic surgery done to allow him to see farther. While he is considered a remarkable marksmen he still does not measure up to Bedovian.

Ysbrydal Gastro Slug Fun Facts: Known as the "Ghost Slug". It is a carnivorous slug, and feeds upon worms. They have teeth, which are extremely sharp. They prefer moist environments and must retreat to damp hiding places when the weather is dry.

Mollussk Fun Fact: He is known for being a sniper. Other Sinestro Corps members trust his aim but know he will not engage in close quarters combat. If the fighting gets too close for comfort he will turn tail and run.


Base Figure: No particular base figure was used.
Head & Tail: The head and tail are from 1997 Spawn Series 8 Rotarr. Inside the uniform is the neck piece I cut from the Spawn action figure. The idea was to cover it with sculpey and still have the peg to put the head on. This did not work because the peg broke. So the head is now glued on and the only articulation is in the tail. I chose to not give this custom arms or legs to make him unique.
Ring: The ring was cut from DC Universe Classics Nite Lik and repainted. It still was not big enough so I had to make adjustments to get it on his tail.
Symbol: The Sinestro Corps symbol I used for this custom is a decal bought online. I found a guy who made Lantern symbols for car windows and I spoke with him about making me some tiny ones for my figures. He said he could do it and it worked quite well for this custom.
