Hi fellow Realmers.
I was fortunate enough to have won Mumm-Ra on $b@y and I must say how beautiful it is in person.
It looks perfect next to my MOTUC collection.
Thank you so much, hussapocalypse!
Mumm-Ra is one exquisitely-made work of art! I am so lucky to have him in my collection.

THANKS for your comments my frens and congratulations to all of the other contestants, especially those standing within the winners circle! This was a brutal competition and I'm honestly surprised that I ranked so poorly, but the jury has spoken. My strategy going into this was simply to out-work everybody else, and this may have been my undoing. In the end, I customized 13 different characters/figures, and perhaps I spread myself too thin. It was certainly a descent into madness for me to try to bring all of those in on time. There were a lot of obstacles along the way, and at certain times I didn't think I was going to make the deadline. I sacrificed a lot of sleep and neglected opportunities to make money (I am a tattoo artist at my other "job" lol) to stay home and work on these projects. I finally dragged these over the finish line at about 9 pm on the last day The Realm was accepting submissions, on 3 hours of sleep, and I think partially due to exhaustion and partially due to time constraints, my photography and descriptions suffered from being rushed. I'm not trying to make excuses for my work, but if I could go back and do anything differently it would have been to manage my time better so I would have had more of it to execute the photography/descriptions to a higher standard of quality. I accept my standing with humility and deference towards all of the other customizers who showed the testicular fortitude to bare their teeth and do battle in this arena. It sure was a lot of fun, and for me the challenges of the journey outweighed the defeat at the destination. But I don't take it too seriously, because even though this is a valid artform and the standard of excellence is very high, at the end of the day we are talking about children's playthings lol. TOYS. It is this perspective that keeps the struggle fun for me and why I am proud to be a REALMER, and also why I choose not to use the advertising feature provided by the site; because this is a place where I come to hang out amongst my brethren - not to market to people that I consider friends. No offense intended towards those that utilize this function; I understand it, but it is just not my style. Until next time, Happy Horror-days mi amigos, and keep on customizing! Cheers, Scotty

The way you paint them it's very original, they don't look customs at all, they look factory made, very creative and artistic job, the props are great like Ma-Mutt, congrats, kudos.

I really dig the Mumm-ra the Everliving figure from this set (love the crazy head gear), and the more humanoid-like body you gave Ma-Mutt kicks his coolness factor up several notches too. Lion-O is also done well, but the Mummy version of Mumm-Ra doesn't do a lot for me in comparison to the other two. Bonus points for making multiple characters!
