What's up! Now before I get the question why?...Let me start by saying that Jin's Chaos Lantern Joker is awesome and he posted his on the exact same day (weird) my brother and I were trying to figure out what Lantern Corps Joker could possibly fit into and what we came up with is none, THEN out of some mystical hidden Lantern came Jin's and completly blew my mind cause he created his own core (GENIUS) but I wanted something different, I wanted Joker to be part of 1 of the lantern Corps that already existed ? "NOT EASY" so after some time deliberating I finally decided on the RED LANTERN CORPS, I know some people may not agree with my choice but I do have a couple reasons 1: I like to think that he got angry when he realized that he was not going to be part of any of the Blackest Night/ Brightest Day story arcs and went out of his way to kill Dexter the Cat and stole his Red ring thus becoming the Red Lantern Joker. 2: It's my custom and I'll make what I want to...make what I want to..make what I want to (LOL), In the longrun they are custom action figures and he could be whatever Lantern I choose even if it makes absolutly no sense :) Let me know what you think and thanks for looking! ![]() |

keep an eye out for my next Red Lantern coming real soon
as for the paint job all I did was paint the base figure black then I would go over any areas that are going to be red with a 60/40 ratio mix of black/silver let that dry then I would apply a few coats of silver dry brushing over the dark metallic mix (putting more emphasis on the higher areas..ie: veins, wrinkles, etc.)when that dries I clean up the lines with black to make sure there even after that I apply Tamiya X-27 clear red paint with at least 2 coats which ends up with the candy red paint job.
hope this helps
Looks awesome with the RL Bane.
I want them!
Awesome work, 3b...another home run!!!!
