Since we never got all that many Golden Age-related Superman characters in figure form, and the only versions of the Ultra-Humanite were in his albino gorilla form, I set about creating one of the Ultra-Humanite as he first appeared in Action Comics #13 back in June of 1939.

First, I removed the head and hands from the DC Direct Shazam Series 1 Dr. Sivana body, and commenced a full repaint on the lab coat, pants, and shoes in basic flat white. Next, I used my Dremel to flatten out the remaining neck, and once it was to my liking, I jammed a small glob of Milliput into it, and then stuck a small plastic post into it made from an extra double ball joint I had in the fodder box. I next removed the post from the Milliput and set it aside to dry. Once the Milliput had dried, I re-inserted the post into the cavity and glued it in place with a small dab of Testors modeling cement. As soon as the glue had dried, I commenced a full repaint on the hands and the neck with Testors flat peach acryllic paint, and then set aside to dry. While the paint dried, I used my Dremel to sand down the exposed neck portion of the Toy Biz X-Men Movie Series 1 Patrick Stewart as Professor X head to accommodate the Sivana body's sanded neck. Once the neck was removed from the Stewart head, I drilled a small hole up into it to fit the neck post I had created earlier. After a few test fittings, and a bit more sanding, I got the new head and neck to a point where they fit together nearly seamlessly. Next, I used a bit of hot water on the wrists to reattach the hands. Once the hands were reattached, I set about on a full repaint of the head (except for the eyes since they were fine as they were) in Testors flat peach acryllic paint for the skin and Testors flat black acryllic paint for the eyebrows. Once all of the paint on the head was dry, I applied a small glob of Testors modeling cement into the hole at the bottom of the head and around it to create a prefect seam between head and neck. Afterwards, I held the two pieces together so they could set and bond seamlessly, and TA-DA...the Ultra-Humanite as he first appeared in Action Comics # 13 (June, 1939)!!!!

Please let me know what you guys think of him, and as always, comments are appreciated.

Oh, yes, indeed he was once a man--Is it wrong that when I read your comment, I heard Cobra Commander's repetitive statement from G.I. Joe: The Movie of "Once...was...a...man!"--LOL. Glad you liked it
