Hey, Mad Tinker here. This is the one of many customs I am completely and I hope to post in the coming week. Been busy with life, and going back to school. Yes after 0ver 10 years, I have returned to taking classes in my spare time, between work and family and life.. They dont call me Mad for nothing.
This is my Buzz Lightyear. I have to give props to Hammer of the Gods for completing his before me. I was stuck with some of the paint options and the pop out wings but Hammer's custom got me fired up and back to work. Another thing that slowed me down that this was a custom made for my son and it had to be 150% perfect.
This is also my 2nd try at Buzz. Initially I had Buzz in an Iron Monger suit and a Cable head.. Going for that Gritty old space marine feel. But kind of scrapped that idea and had my son pick out what he wanted and not what I wanted.. go figure. My son has already requested some accessories to go with Buzz. A deep space helmet and possible a vehicle and a sidekick.
Anyhow, recipe is much like Hammer's. Batman Legacy Mr. Freeze body. Lex Luthor battle suit gloves, ML Angel head, heavily modified HOM Xmen Classics Wolverine jet pack. POP out wings still work. tons of fodder and sculpt work. the Bubble helmet is from a Dr. Evil Moon Mission figure from Austin Powers.
Used a white pearl on the space suit to give it a metallic, space age, futuristic look. I used a parakeet green with a heavy coating of glow in the dark paint that I have used in past customs.
