Red Skull (Classic Costume) (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Up next is one that i think has been done before, and i know a lot of people have said Hasbro should do. I definitely agree, cause they'd probably use a better head than i did. I saw BA had this abin sur head available in his one offs, and since i had a WW2 Cap just sitting around, i thought i'd give it a shot. I re-sculpted the brow and cheek bones to protrude more, but in the end, it still looks a little too thin and just not much like old Johann. Turns out just painting a skull red does not a Red Skull make. Oh well, i like him fine. Got to take some fun pics with Bucky. I painted his head white then covered it in red ink to make it seem kind of like there's some goo or blood or something still on it. Mixed some red ink with the blood red to paint his arm band too, but i think i didn't let it cure long enough before playing with it, because in the last pic you can see where its rubbed off a little on the band and his face. Oh well. On a side note... i never get any more comfortable painting swastikas Please wait... |

I also had issue with painting the Nazi symbol on my figure so I skipped it altogether, maybe I'll drop a Hydra one on it later.
It's funny how well a classic Cap works for a Red Skull. I guess they both are super soldiers after all.
On the other hand, I saw somebody do a 3.75" Cap with Indiana Jones Nazi parts. You should of seen how many posts attacked the guy about using Nazi parts! I guess there's a double standard with the opposite situation, because I have seen Red Skull's done with Cap in all sorts of scales, and nobody ever says anything about that... weird!
I forgot to mention, for a troubled hand (by the subject matter previously discussed), the symbol is still nice and clean!
