This was inspired by Shinobitron's New Krypton Superman to Red Skull conversion. Only I am a bit of an articulation nut, so I used a lower half of a Bizarro I had lying around to get the articulation I wanted. I sculpted the upper legs to get some fabric wrinkles and that 40's flared pants look. I also added boot cuffs. For the head I wanted to have more of the movie look that Hugo Weaving sported, so I tried something new. I ended up re-working and re-sculpting a movie abomination figure's head. I had started to make the head into a movie style swamp thing, but I kept thinking how much he looked like the Red Skull. I extended the back of the head, removed the nose, made the nasal cavities, added to the cheek bones, and added to the scarring. Then it was paints, I tried a two tone black motif for the suit using a flat black and a glossy. Then for the head its a red brown for the dark base coat, a crimson red for the mid tones and a cherry red for highlights. The head was topped with a glossy finish to give it that wet fleshy look. The cigarette holder was a piece off of an old fodder weapon's barrel, and another piece was repainted into the cigarette and attached into a hole I dremiled for it. It attaches by a small pin that fits in between the Skull's teeth, on both sides of his mouth, and the hole are pretty unnoticeable. The extra jacket is from an old ML series 6 Thomas Jane movie Punisher. Thanks for the view! ![]() |
