I've had this DCD Warlord figure for awhile that was apart of my collection, but he was one of those figures that was expendable for a custom should he need be used. I thought the armor on the figure looked cool enough that could pass off as something Conan would wear. I went with a Desert kind of theme for him, the armor to me at least seems that it could pass for that and I gave him some weapons and accessories that would help build upon the desert idea.

As for the paint job on the base figure, most of it was touch up since the colors matched well to what I was going for. Some washes for the weapons and equipment & bloody effects for the Pig Man head, base, & sword. All of the skin was repainted and stained. My idea for the skin was to get a comic-y styled flickering effect that would coincide with the torch when displayed together . Since Conan's always going into dark temples, dungeons, & caves I figured this idea would help complement that.
