Last week I posted a Jedi Spiderman. This week I have the original figure I came up with. When Venom first came to mind he had a simple design, but as time went on more and more kept getting added. Spikes on his arm, tendrils coming off his arm and back, and the hood. I didn't want the symbiote to cover his whole body, so I added sculpt over portions of his chest and arm. I painted the spider emblem more like the Mac Gargan Venom, and painted it red over portions of the flesh to give it that engrained, bloody look. While still retaining the traditional white over the symbiote itself. The lightsaber was cut shorter and sculpted into his hand as I wanted the saber to be absorbed and a part of the symbiote. In the same manner, I envisioned the symbiote how he channeled the force, so his webbing and parts of his suit have purple tracings over them to give the force effect. Star Wars isn't my forte so I pretty much just kinda did whatever when working on this guy, but he resembles his original Marvel design better than my Jedi Spiderman did, and was a lot of fun to work on.
