My custom Akuma using Sota figure for base. After seeing the Play Arts Akuma it inspired me to make a 6" Akuma with a same type of details. Full body re-sculpted, the whole uniform are sculpted on, added wrinkles and texture. I made the shoulder joint wider, extended the leg to make him taller. I sculpted in the way that it wouldn't hinder any of the articulation. Full re-paint with dark purple and light grey dry brush, gave him a dark skin tone... I tried to make him look as much like the Play Arts Akuma as I can. Tell me what you think.  Please wait... |

Your sculpt work to add texture and detail is impressive. The arms are especially nice because you had to keep them still kinda smooth. A lot of work and it all goes together really nice to make a cohesive whole. Good job!
when I saw the pic, I thought that you've just modded the head of a PA akuma, and when I looked closely. boom! insane sculpted details man! respect! you really got that play arts look on this fig.
