Removed the pop-out canons and screwed/glued the panels back onto the body. Repainted the body mat-black. Added gold piping and silver highlights. Drilled holes and implanted 10 LED lights in proper locations. (Two extra white lights have been added where the "machine gun" lights were removed) Wires are all hidden beneath silver floor panel inside cockpit. A small AA power pack is in the former location of the right canon inside the cockpit. A small switch on the battery pack toggles between "On/Off" and "Flashing". Factory sound FX and red after-burner lights still function. Custom Movie Masters "Batman Begins" with double knee-joint fits inside.

This was surprisingly easy to accomplish. The LED light kit was like $7 at Target in the crafts section. The holes were drilled by simply twirling an Xacto knife in the right spot. I want to make a second version with the proper "double lights" next to the front windows (didn't allow enough space for two on each side) and I want to attempt a proper cockpit opening mechanism.
