Been slowly working on a lot in the wee hours of the night for the past few months and thought I might as well finish something. I had a gross amount of glitter paint that someone thought would make a good gift ( - __ - ). But then it caught the light and I couldnt help but notice it looked pretty diamond-like. !IDEA! so I did a little different something something with this Emma, went for the phased look. Base is Black Widow. Did some reshaping on the chest (clearly heehee) and sculpted some new hair. I modified the hips a little bit and I think it helps the overall flow of the body. Enjoy!

Just saw this as a "Blast from the Past" featured custom, WOW. She is so beautiful! You made one of the most attractive Emma Frost figures of all time. And the diamond transition effect is superb!

You can never get enough comments, I have to pyle on too. Awesome brudda, That is a Great Emma. Not sure what you did to her hips or if its just the added lines to her legs but she looks more athletic than scrawny. I love that look. And awesome paint job.... glitter great idea, but the face paint is fantastic.

Awesome Emma Frost, currently on m number 1 list. With or without the phasing effect. What did you use to get the glitter to stick ? just plain glue perhaps? It looks seamless plus the sculpting done on the black widow face makes this totally like a new figure.

It was like glitter paint. Think those cheap Apple Barrel paints but with clear paint and oodles of glitter floating about in it. lots and lots of thing layers and it lays pretty darn smooth, a lot smoother than I was expecting.

Can't help coming back and looking. But like storm136 asked what brand of paint did you use? The whites I have tried tend to get dirty before I finish what I'm doing.

Honestly I use cheapo craft store acrylics with a sealant. Lots and lots of thin coats. As for dirtying the white, it's all in the handling. Clean hands, maybe even use rubber gloves. Once it's on, give it extra dry time and then seal and leave it alone. All the dirt that will show on white will come from your wittle fingers.

I use the cheap stuff like Apple Barrel as well. The white is the only one that I've problems with no matter what brand. But thanks I guess I'll start using the gloves though.

Also, try and wait until last to do white (if you have to paint the entire figure I mean with a multitude of colors) just wait and save the white for last so you don't have to touch it as much.
