I've been wanting to design my own lantern for a long time but I just couldn't justify it with all the cool lanterns I have yet to make, but then I had the idea to make this guy who was mentioned in the comic but you never got to see. As I brainstormed designs I thought, "maybe the idea you never got to see this guy in the comic was because he was...INVISIBLE!!!" so that's where this idea came from. :) I gave him armor from a lcbh wraal figure, the head is a cast of a Hal Jordan head that I made in hot glue, then carved off the hair and reshaped the head and face using a spoon I had heated up on the stove, it's hard to tell in the pictures but his face doesn't look anything like hal's did. Then I gave this a guy some new paint and new shading with my airbrush(I just got it and I'm having a blast using it). I gave you guys a group shot of all my lanterns to date but there will be more soon, I've got three in the works right now!
