Once I saw Martian Manhunter as a Green Lantern during Brightest Day, I knew immediately I had to make one for myself. This is a Martian Manhunter head on a Jemm body with the belt turned around to the back so you can't see the belt buckle. I then swapped right hands with an extra Hal Jordan figure and then gave him a red jewel for his Mars rock chestpiece. I think it was a decorative brad from a crafts store and I just broke the legs off. The riskiest part was the cape, which does not have a consistent depiction in the comic, so I just picked one I liked and tried to make it work. I cut across the top of the cape, right above the peg that fits into the back. I used a flat black for the body and metallic black for the gloves and boots. I really like the contrast of flat and glossy together. The chest GL logo was tricky but I got lucky and got it pretty smooth. I'm exceedingly happy with how this turned out.
