Custom #:41629
Name:Six-Armed Spider-Man
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:loosecollector
Date Added:August 9, 2012
Base Figure:Spideys
Height:6.00 inches
First of all, I would like to thank everyone who mailed and PMed me to send their prayers and concern for me and my family's safety. We've been hammered by the typhoon, but thank God we are kept safe and our home intact. Please pray also for the less-fortunate families who were homeless and relocated. I greatly appreciate and am humbled by your kind thoughts. Thank you very much.

Second figure for today, we have Spider-Man... with six arms. I don't really know the story behind it, but at least he lives up to his name in this form :D. He was made from the following parts:

SMC Spidey head, hands, lower legs
ML10 Spidey arms
Campbell Spidey the rest
4 extra arms were beefed-up Toybiz Elektras

Most of the work went into figuring out how to save shoulder articulation to the four extra arms. Spidey's torso is really too narrow and we hate to just glue the arms at the shoulders leaving only the biceps movable. We ended up making new sockets onto the torso, allowing the arms complete arm articulation. Then we proceeded with the usual paintjob.

Hope you like him guys! God bless.

I like the parts for your spidey you've used. Without the extra arms would be a great recipe for a spidey, but when you add the arms you get a classic moment in action figure form! Awesome!

So much of what you do is surreal to me. Adding shoulder joints to the rib and waist areas just doesn't seem right, never mind possible. You strive for perfection in all that you do, and it shows and blesses the rest of us. And we do pray for God's perfect plan to bring Glory to Him as He demonstrates His Providence in all of His creation.

Looks great. Very smart parts choice use, especially going with the Romita or Kane looking Spider-man head.
