The base body for Monica is a DC Universe Cheetah. I used the version of Cheetah that already had black legs to avoid dealing with paint rub in those areas. That Cheetah figure originally had bare feet, so I swapped them for casts of the other Cheetah figures feet. I also gave her a right fist from a DC Universe Dove figure so she can punch the bad guys. The head is a cast of a Toybiz Marvel Legends Phoenix head with sculpted mask and hair. I also sculpted the boot cuffs. The wings (I guess that’s what you call those things) are made of cloth, and are hand sewn. To connect them to the figure, I tried to replicate what Hasbro did with the Banshee figure. I actually made a mold and cast one of the connecting pins from Banshee’s wings. I sewed a pin into each wing to connect them to the torso. The Cheetah figure’s arms were too small to use those pins on, so I just looped thread around the arms at the wrist and shoulder to connect the arms and wings.
