Decided to get back into it with a God of War 3 Kratos for my collection. Neca has a beautiful figure out, but too expensive at the moment, and no Icarus Wings! Breakdown is as follows: Body - Hawkman (for wings really)
Lower arms and hands - UFC figure...just because
Head - Sota Akuma
All other limbs - Hawkman
Used exact-o-knife to cut off Akuma's spiky hair. Apoxie sculpt to smooth out head and goatee. More apoxie sculpt for select armored areas, i.e. forearms, shins, waist, and Golden Fleece. Rubbery fodder cloth for loin cloth. Chains from an assortment of key chains. While apoxie was soft I wrapped chains around the forearms and gently pushed them in. Plastic fodder chains (slightly bigger) used on shin-guards. Sculpted Blades of Exile from scratch. Sharpened edges with said exact-o-knife.

REALLY happy with the head choice...doubted it at first. Stand by for future pics as I plan on doing ALL weapons for him. Yes, ALL games. Including PSP to PS 3 tangents. Thanks for looking, and hopefully the recipe inspires others whom take their time...as I currently struggle with the virtue of patience.
OH! Also, cut off tips of boots while leaving tip of the soles intact. Same on the heals. Sculpted toes and heals. Used Hawkman winged ears to sculpt Boots of Hermes. Extra apoxie to sculpt armor under boots and atop sandals. Also, sculpted stitching for scar on abdomen. Voila!
