I love Dlck...Grayson, I mean
Before Nightwing became the new Deadpool, as soon as I watched Young Justice Invasion I knew he would be hot
But I had to give little Dlck a lift
And before you get tired of the puns, let's go for the recipe
Young Justice Robin, that's all

i'm kidding, so, I cut his limbs down to the bare bones, ok, not quite, his arms and legs were just shaved off, but i had to resculpt the torso (i kept the yellow straps :) they're fine)
and i worked on his face, that full smile Mattel gave him make him look silly (and no one wants a silly...wait for it...Robin)
so i gave him the half smirk he has on the concept and pretty much 90% of the show, and since DCUC have those incredibly soft heads so good to sculpt over (sarcasm) I cut his hair bangs away from the forehead.
But I could not accept they did not give him his cape over the shoulders, they even gave Batman a cape over the shoulders (even if he doesn't wear them like that on the show *sob - awesome Batman, but not YJ)
So I developed a new technique to give young Robin a sculpted cape that was still flexible - I used EVA molded in heat - easier said than done, I lost like 3 capes before i got this one right, practice comes with perfection so they say (or is it the opposite?)
I'll get better at making those when I have to make some more (*hint, hint)

This is a great custom, and I've been looking for one like this for a while. The one released by Mattel is just bizarre. I would be willing to take it off your hands, if it isn't already too late. My email is jthedemon104@gmail(.)com

Hey Grunge, you do commissions? I want one, and I was thinking of just making him slimmer, but I suppose if one is going to mod a figure, might as well do it right huh? So do ya?

You definitely have one fine looking Dlck there. I guess since you shaved a bit off him you could call him sircumsized

Way to rework the proportions of your DlCK!
The torso is so much less boxy and big that it fits way more with the character model, as well as the face and hair mods that also help bring this figure back to model! Nice cape too, looks fantastic!

Again great work bro. This whole figure is much more proportional now and I like the fact that you can see his neck. Thanks for fixing that goofy smile of his it made him look a bit stupid especially paired with looking like he had no neck. I mean it's like what have you got to be smiling about?

I extended his neck a bit too, forgot to mention, and gave it a little more range up and down

Ha! nice puns. made my morning coffe. As for the fig, what can I say. It was originally dcent, if the kid were on steroids. Now it looks like a completely different figure, more like a kid,and faithful to the cartoon series. Love what you did with the head, too. Now he doesn´t look like an idiot. The major breakthrough here, as I see it, is the cape. You opened a thousand possibilities here for caped characters, that I I hope you will delight us with in the future. Great job, as usual.

Some very nice mods there; the head is many times better now and you absolutely nailed that half smirk! The arms also look more natural; before they seemed inflated almost. And good work too with the cape that comes over his shoulders!

You're welcome, and "too large a D!ck" certainly HAD to be intentional!
