Sting (Wrestling) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:43949
Name:Sting
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Wrestling
Creator:Nits
Date Added:October 31, 2012
Base Figure:1999 ToyBiz Lex Luger
Height:6.50 inches
Completion Time:3.00 hours
Articulation:9 points
I found this old ToyBiz Lex Luger at a garage sale, his skin and hair were completely faded to a weird mottled fleshy white color but other than that he was in good shape (he even still swings his arms in a body slam motion when you squeeze his legs together). So i thought i'd bring him back to life. He is just a basic repaint (no sculpting or part swaps). I used 4 different shades of model master flesh tones on his body. Starting with a base coat of warm tint mixed with some leather then dry brushing progressively lighter shades ending with regular skin tone base light to add some depth to his muscles. His pants and hair are both flat black highlighted with two shades of gloss black mixed with flat white. His boots are just straight gloss black with flat black on the laces and soles. That's it, super easy and now i have a pretty sweet sting :)

Don't know much about wrestling characters, but I'm loving the paint apps on this guy! The face paint is wicked!
