Known by many as General Decivus Honso of the Klindakian Army. He lead his soldiers to decisive victories against the Callian tribes, ending a long seven year war along the Klindakian frontier. He earned the respect of his soldiers as well as the Klindakian Elders. He was considered a hero.

Emperor Jevek of Klindak asks General Decivus to remain as the leader of his armies and help him expand his territory by conquering the Toxobi tribe to the north. Decivus declines this offer and expresses his desire to return home to his wife and daughter. Emperor Jevek believes his chances of defeating the Toxobi are greatly reduced without General Decivus leading his armies. So he sends Klindakian assassins to kill his wife and daughter, believing that without a family Decivus will have nothing to go home to and stay.

Through the loyalty of his troops Decivus learns of this plot and quickly races home to stop the assassination. He arrives too late to stop the murders of his wife and daughter. After burying them, Decivus stands over their graves feeling grief and rage.

It is this action that attracts a Red Lantern power ring passing through his sector of space. And that day in an explosion of fire and blood, Red Lantern Decivus was born. Typical Red Lanterns are unable to think clearly and rarely speak. But after his transformation Decivus was able to utter one word. "REVENGE!"

He quickly flies through town leaving a trail of napalm in his wake as onlookers scatter for cover. He finds himself at a local slum for rebels and lowlifes. He makes short work of the bouncer guarding the door. And everyone crazy enough to make a rush for him once he enters quickly end up in flames. Decivus steps up to the bar and uses his ring to etch words into the wood. "Honso family, who killed?" The bar keep responds in fear, "bbbback room, to the right"

Decivus quickly bursts into the back, killing everyone in sight. Confident he has taken care of the actual killers. Decivus now sets his sights on the mastermind behind the death of his family. But before he can set off on this task he is taken away by his ring to the planet Ysmault, the Red Lantern home-world.

Arriving on Ysmault, he is dropped directly in the middle of Atrocitus' Red Lantern Corps. Surrounded by unknown aliens he speaks again. "GET AWAY FROM ME!"

Atrocitus witnesses this display and is intrigued. To this day he remains one of Atrocitus's most trusted Red Lanterns.

His grief over the loss of his family and the fact that he has nothing left to live for proves to be more than enough to fuel his rage. He is fearless in battle and has even developed some ability to make constructs. However, Atrocitus has yet to bathe him in the blood ocean.



Base Figure: DC Universe Classics Skallox/Nite-Lik
Head: DCs Despero. But i'm not sure which one. I just know I bought it on ebay cheap and it had very little articulation. The head had a neck so I had to dremel a hole. Instead of cutting the neck off and doing more work I used Nite-Lik's armor to hide it. I actually gave the head a slight repaint because I couldn't match color for the hands perfectly.
Hands: DC Universe Classics Skallox with a repaint of a mixture or purple, red, and white.
Paint Job: As I stated above I painted both the head and hands. But his head was more of a dry brush job than a full repaint.

Final Thoughts: I enjoyed doing this custom and I think he turned out great. And I enjoyed writing his backstory also. I mean I could have gone on and on with what was flowing through my head but I had to cut it short. I mean I didn't want it to eventually get boring.
