Kyle Robinson's Danzig is the whole reason I started customizing. The Misfits have been my favorite band since I was twelve years old and I have always wanted a Danzig figure. So when I saw Kyle's one I Flipped out as lo and behold, the source material is my very favorite Danzig photo ever!!! so when I finally got my hands on some apoxie sculpt I went for it. Did pretty much the same thing as Kyle's recipe, exept I gave the shirt a grey dry brush to make it look a little faded and I left an eye exposed which I painted a ghoulish white with a black pupil. Also the wondy I had doesn't have great balance so I made a fold back amp out of sculpy for him to rock out on! I'll put some pics of that in the forum. so I hope you all enjoy, and thanks to Kyle Robinson for the inspiration for what is easily my favorite figure in my 6" collection, custom or otherwise.

For the record Glenn getting poleaxed by that big dude was the funniest thing I seen in ages
ROFL - small man syndrome indeed

I heard be did a nude spread for playgirl EEEEEWWW. anyone listen to Fields of the Nephilim? I'm keen to do a Carl Mcoy figure but so far I only have the hat!!

That actually happened? My friend got back from a concert once (or got back from seeing a video or something) and said he saw that first-hand but I thought he was just high

Cool thanks man! I'm the same when it comes to Glenn Danzig though I have enjoyed a couple of songs from DANZIG like mother, bodies and sistinas, but that's about it. I once saw a video of him trying intimidate his own security and he gets taken out it one punch!!! Small man syndrome!!

Exellent job my friend and thanks for ll the kind words about me ^_^. I'm always flattered when people can be inspired by my work, but this is the ultimate flattery cause its cool see another classic misfits fan.
and yes, the misfits are from Lodi new Jersey, and often not given any credit, they are deffinatly responsible for influincing MANY punk bands and horror rocks bands since. I consider danzig dead to me after 1983 though..lol.. although I do dig some samhain stuff.
Keep on rocking and working on your customs... they are coming out great.

Ahhh I see. Thank you, Zenn.
I'm pretty clueless about most music from the late 70s to the 90s... I know about 50s, 60s and early 70s music, but that's about it. (I listened to the Oldies station growing up)

It's Glenn Danzig, singer and founding member of the Misfits 1977-83. he's been in a band called Danzig since like '84 or '85. Misfits are a horror punk band from the original punk movement, I think they came out of New Jersey but I could be wrong there. far more melodic than most punk of the era because of this guy's wailing. good stuff and you should check it out if your into that sort of thing. just beware of later stuff with Michale Graves, their 90's singer. some of it's okay but doesn't stack up to the orig!
