Really loved the decadence this figure had in its design, with its blatant display of torture and mutilation. The sculpt work had exceptional realism, and even though McFarlane figures are notorious for lack of articulation, it made up for it with wicked detailing. Wanted to add to the look by giving the figure black hair (rabbit fur) fashioned like a tribal headpiece, and the lower portion (bonafide blonde hair contributed by the lovely VM) provided a softer edge to the whole look. The two pieces of hair together offset the ultra-rigid tension in the figure and the colors denote a sense of yin-yang at play - just like in the symbol. The wounds have been detailed darker red, and gloss nail polish was brushed overtop the outstretched skin, to bring out the sweat and tears. Thanks for checking this out!
