Madamoiselle Hepzibah (90s) (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:4534
Name:Madamoiselle Hepzibah (90s)
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:Wings
Date Added:October 22, 2007
Base Figure:ML Warbird
Height:6.00 inches
I've not seen a custom of this heroine so thought I'd try my hand at another random X-Related character. Hepzibah here uses Warbirls boday with... wait for it... Scarlet Witch head (yes I went there), Phoenix hair and Psylocke hair for the tail. I had tried to make the tail posable using a flight stand hinge but it looked too awkward and an AoA Sabe ponytail was too thin. Her boot tops, belt and choker are elastic bands and her bag is stolen from Longshot. Her ears were sculpted (playboy bunny style as with the more classic appearances) and her sword is part sculpted part Ult X-Men Nightcrawler double sword thingummy. I'm really happy with how she turned out :)

Hepzibah is one of the ones that I've been wanting to do a custom on. The whole Phoenix saga brought in a lot of characters, and unfortunately not all of them were made into toys. I can't believe that Toy Biz would make a Corsair, Ch'od and Raza but not Hepzibah. I'm glad you did. I really like the way she turned out. I've been thinking about how to create the tail for the longest time, and I think I going to steal your idea. For the body I was thinking of using La Lunatica because of the similar colors.

Very nice!!
I was looking at this character the other day for inspiration for a female counterpart to the pirate custom I'm almost done with. I too was going to use the Warbird base, mostly cause I don't have a lot of female fodder, but now that I see the different head I'm going to have to rethink my plan.
The repaint of Scarlett Witch's head is very Kate Beckinsale-ish, and daddy likes Kate, lol.
I gotta give you many props on this, great job!!
