Doug Jones, the actor who played the role of the Faun, also did Abe Sapien in Hellboy, so it was only fitting to use the head from the Abe figure and attached it to the McF Fly body. Detailed sculpt work was done on the face, and twigs from a Poison Ivy figure were placed throughout the body. The hands & hooves were from a McF Alien figure, with horns from a Dawn accessory piece. Also used synthetic dolls hair for some added realism. The neck allows both pivot and swivel, and the wrists provide great range of movement and expression. His satchel was put together from vinyl and the fairy case was made from a section of a plastic syringe, painted brown with gold hi-lites. The tiny blue fairy was sculpted from scratch, with apoxie and a bit of magic.
