This was a gift for my Dad back on Father's Day. I wanted to make a recognizable Jesus, although I KNOW He had middle-eastern features and brown eyes probably so don't even bring those comments into it. The outfit is a mix of cloth and leather with hemp ties. The walk on water base was sculpted and painted to make the display complete. It's now displayed in my dad's CEO office! Please wait... |

The thing that caught my attention the most is the nifty "WALKING ON WATER" base! How seriously cool is that!
Good job bro!
Very cool. I'm surprised more folks don't do Biblical or historical referenced figures.
It's because people are afraid of offending or not being politically correct. Folks don't want to make waves.
Cool custom, man.
And, unless they're going for a superhero version of Jesus, Jesus fighting Hulk/Superman/etc. wouldn't really work in a diorama.
