However, this time I wanted lots more detail than I did before, and I wanted lots of accessories. He's BATMAN for cryin' out loud, right? He should have stuff!

So I've taken the standard Neca Batman recipe several of us have used, and really went to town sculpting the armor more correctly from the movies. I sculpted armor on his chest, shoulders, arms, thighs, front legs, knees, guantlets, and boots. The blades on his guantlets are cut pieces of AKUMA's coat, glued on first and then sculpted around the edges to secure them in. Rubbery but solid.

His head is ENTIRELY sculpted, over the Ninja Gaiden head. I tried to get as close to Christian Bale's look as possible, even sculpting his lower lip and jaw from close up photos, as his lower jaw is pretty distinct.

I'll leave it to you if I did okay on that, but I am happy with it.

His cape is, of course, HUGE, and POSEABLE, and it is anchored in my new technique, as described in my Vampire Batman custom. Short verion is the wire is anchored in sculpt for better securing and look. It can pose flared wide open (such as when gliding), flapping in the movement (shown in the pics) and can collapse tight behind him for standing in iconic silence.

The belt is a movie master's belt, with a surprise--I built a hook into the back so his grapple gun can slip onto it (pictured). Used a piece of necklace chain, cut it, drilled a tiny hole in the back, glued and sculpted the chain in to secure it, and shaped the belt around that. Gun fits perfect.

I made his 'sticky bomb' gun from the Dark Knigt when he gabs Lau out of China. That was scratch built from a HALO gun and some other pieces. I think it looks cool. His grapple gun is a Battlestar Galactica pistol and sculpt. I scultped three Batarangs as well. He comes with two sets of hands: two gripping hands (rightand left), and two fighting/pointing hands.
