Lets be honest here, do you actually ever sell anything on Ebay? your prices are rediculous and you are jamming up most of the custom auctions. I have been biting my tongue on the sidelines for a long time and I know I am not alone.
IF YOU WANT TO SELL THINGS THEN PRICE THEM TO SELL. I am Sick to death of searching through Custom Marvel and hitting pages of your overpriced listings. Make a call man.

To whom it may concern. I have over hundred different ways to respond to this negative grudge you seem to have which has no business being here in this custom page, but let me see if I can address your concern briefly below:

I sell my customs to three ebay stores outside of my own personal direct sales, so I have no control over what prices they charge on ebay. If you have a question regarding pricing you should talk to them directly through ebay messages and not me here.
I actually know how many customs they sell because they place the orders through me but that is there business so I can't answer for them.
Secondly I checked your profile and it seems you have made 0 customs that we know of so I can say as a fact that if you haven't made at least 50 customs or so then you probably are not an authority on what a custom is worth, having never made one to know how much it costs to make and how much work is involved. This custom alone personally cost me around $160 to 200 just for the parts before I did anything with it.

I hope that answers your questions but honestly whenever somebody takes that much personal interest in someone elses things I would say that the person is very unhappy in their own life and shouldn't worry about someone else so they can focus on their own issues.
Why would you even care how many customs that store sells? Why would that be your business? Just saying.

Like I said you have no idea how to price a custom because you never made one. I can actually prove that right now. Go ahead and tell me what any custom figure should be priced at. tell me a bullet point list. You will see how wrong you are.

All I am saying is you really do not know what you are talking about but even if you did, why are you telling me??
Why do you even care. I certainly didn't ask your opinion on anything.
By the way 2 or 3 figures priced at 700 out of the rest makes the average not even half that amount. Funny how you pick the only two at that price out of about 280 as an example. Just a little math lesson but 2 out of 280 will not give a 700 average.
And if my memory serves me that is what an ebay offer button is for. To make offers which can be any amount.

People like you Sereda always sound and come off the same. Abrasive and ignorant of what you are talking about.

Anyway. Take care and I hope you put all those thousands you spent on those quality customs to good use.
If you ever want to discuss without constantly trying to take cheap shots let me know. Thanks! I am available for live chat. Bye Sereda. Seriously you really need to calm your negative tone down. Just a general rule of thumb is to be nice talking to someone for the first time.

Sereda You really have no idea what you are talking about. You should just ask nicely before making assumptions and wrong conclusions.

Guys can we keep this fun? You both took some cheap shots at each other and that's not what we come to figurerealm for.

I agree Sereda that D&D has a lot of stuff on eBay and the prices can get pretty extravagant. In his defense, not all customizers know how to do some of the heavy-duty modifications he can do and that kind of know-how has value if you're in the market for custom figures. His materials aren't always cheap either. For instance that McFarlane military fodder he uses gets pretty expensive. I agree..I don't like his pricing and that's why I choose not to buy but that's his prerogative to price as he sees fit. He's adding new figures and he's selling them, so clearly somebody out there is willing to pay his prices. He feels they're justified and I accept that.

Let's keep this venue fun ok? And before either of you chime in with "hey Avenger..where are your customs?". I will be posting them soon. I'm constantly tweaking them trying to improve them and I'm practicing taking pictures of them right now. I'm not anywhere near as talented as the likes of Raybot for instance and my recipe ideas are not always original but I'm looking forward to your fair critiques when they're up.

Hey AvengerKiller. Thanks for weighing in. I do not agree with you that I took cheap shots. If you read what I said it was just was a response to his angry message and if someone is going to erroneously accuse you of something and basically yell and try to insult you, then it is only fair that I am able to point out the flaw in their calculation and thinking. I actually didn't insult at all. I just said he was wrong and ignorant about the topic. He is entitled to his opinion but honestly I do not know why he is taking it personally or why he has to tell a=me about it. I think IPHONES are expensive. You don't see me writing an angry letter to APPLE? I am sure people agree and others who own an iphone think it is worth every penny. Why even comment on that?

I agree with what you said about the rest. I think you have the right thinking about it, the only thing being is that no one seems to read what I said. I sell my stuff to the store to sell. The prices are out of my hand. I will say that if a custom cost 150 to make then it makes no sense to sell it for 50 profit. Bargain hunters do not realize anything about cost. They don't realize that ebay charges you 3 times in fees so that can be added to the initial base cost. So what does someone want a custom for. FREE??????

What everyone should realize is customs are ART. The maker knows how much time, planning, effort and cost $ it took them to make and it is up to them to price it accordingly. After that it is up to the consumer to decide how much it is worth to them.
I see some customs go up above 1000 on ebay sold by some customizers here, and everyone knows who I am talking about. Did Sereda write them an "angry message", NO. Are those customs worth over 1000. In my opinion yes and no. I would not pay anywhere near that amount for them or anything at all really because I am not interested in those particular customs, but to someone else that particular work of art was worth it to them and I think the artist deserves it so good for them. I can make pretty much any custom but I still sometimes purchase some from others for a HIGH price I might add because to me I love the character and I love the way the artist captured them. I calculate which base parts were used and how much it would cost to obtain them which includes their individual shipping cost. I then calculate how much time it would take to put it together and then sculpt and paint and decide whether it is worth the premium. There is almost always a premium but so what. It is Art. I do not know why people are trying to be bargain hunters in an art world? There is always going to be a premium. Why would anyone think that if someone made something for 150 they should charge 150???????? That just doesn't make any sense. I respect people whether I agree with them or not but I could easily write a 100 page paper on the subject and I think someone should truly be an authority on the subject before they take cheap shots at people that's all.

As for your new work AvengerKiller, I can't wait to see it. I remember my first custom. It was horrible. I left a few here on the realm so people could see the progression and how much I learned since them. I am sure your first customs will be far better then my first customs. I think from a community point of view that people's customization talent should be given constructive criticism to promote growth and they should be encouraged no matter what level people are operating on. I do think they should be examined based on the customizer's level which I think can be ascertained based on the customizer's entire body of work and not just on 1 custom.

I have spent thousands buying customs.
You do not have to Make a car to appreciate a Classic. As is the same for customs.
The customisers here who make and SELL them have the communities respect. Raybot / Jin the list goes on.
Please don't insult the communities intyelligence with your "consignment story"
You are D&D Customs. Your customs have D&D customs all over them and are liusting for on average upto $700+ per figure? really?
All I am saying is price them for what they are worth, don't try and inflate the market because these are not $700+ customs. Simple as that.

Even though no one here will openly support me I know what they are thinking because this issue has been discussed before.

Thanks RatedR321. Wasn't sure what outfit to use. There is a tshirt look and a shirt look and a short jacket look, but in this movie I think he runs around in this black trench outfit so I went with this one.
